With the Leisure and Hospitality industries growing worldwide, interviewing and employee selection have steadily evolved and improved over the years, yet most of the recruitment techniques and tools used in prescreening and selection of future employees are still largely behavior/ skills – based, working on the principle that past behavior or experience is the best predictor of future behavior or performance. Main objective of Pedantis Evaluation is to assist interviewers in identifying technical proficiency of candidates. It’s a tool designed only to help in identifying the right set of knowledge and skills, and the test result alone will not to replace the recruiter / interviewer in making hiring decision.

Conducted in controlled environment, Pedantis Evaluation will reduce the number of candidates that have been coached what technical proficiency questions to expect and how to answer, respectively. Being computer based, Pedantis Evaluation will ultimately help to tackle concerns about the actual / current competency of candidates.

Considering the limited interview time, particularly with large groups, Pedantis Evaluation will produce independent proof / evaluation of current technical proficiency of a candidate, which in return will help in simplifying the pre-screening process, leaving additional time to recruiter/interviewer to focus on attitude, motivation and personality of candidates during the interview.

Through streamlining the technical skills evaluation, Pedantis Evaluation is aiming to help recruiters to spend more time with candidates and to focus on identifying the correct combination of personality and skills that make the best performers.
